Your responsibilities:

  • Research in virus database and tools for structured access to the data.
  • Participation in the research project NFDIMircobiota.
  • Possibility within the project for own scientific qualification and obtaining the PhD.

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed university studies in computer science/bioinformatics (with a focus on databases)
  • Knowledge in the area of databases
  • Knowledge in virology/sequence analysis is desirable

The position is limited to a period of three years until 30.09.2024, subject to funding by the DFG. If the funding is extended, continued employment is possible. This is a part-time position (20 hours per week).
