Description
The armadillo repeat gene deleted in velocardiofacial syndrome is involved in the calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion and in multicellular organismal development. This gene seems to be slightly upregulated after 23 hours of ebola infection in humans, and slightly downregulated after 23 hours of ebola infection in bats. The expressed gene structure seems to be changed after 23 hours of ebola infection in humans, having a high expression of a normally intronic region.
