Description
Transmembrane emp24 protein transport domain containing 7 (TMED7) has a potential role in vesicular protein trafficking, mainly in the early secretory pathway. It appears to play a role in the biosynthesis of secreted cargo including processing and post-translational modifications.
This gene is significantly downregulated in the cells 23 h after Ebola infection in human cells. In bat cells, there seems to be no downregulation at this timepoint.
