Description
This gene encodes an RNA-binding protein that is a member of thespliceosome C complex, which functions in pre-mRNA processing andtransport. The encoded protein also promotes transcription at the c-fosgene. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
For human cells Ebola and Marburg infected cells, a slight downregulation at 23hours can be observed. In bat cells homologs show constant expression levels.
