Description
The interferon, alpha-inducible protein 27 (IFI27) promotes cell death and mediates interferon-induced apoptosis which is characterized by a rapid and robust release of cytochrome C from the mitochondria and activation caspases.
The IFI27 gene showed no expression in human cells nor in bat cells samples.
