Every year in February, you can meet the majority of our lab in Bled, sLOVEnia. We are not visiting the “Most Romantic Lake in the World” for Valentine’s Day, but for the TBI Winterseminar. Come to Bled to meet Martin, Maximilian, Lisa, Sebastian, Emanuel, Marie, Kevin and Daniel; and listen to their interesting talks, for example on whole genome comparison among bacteria (Lisa), a tool for analyzing long-range RNA-RNA interactions in viral genomes and structured RNAs (Daniel), the prediction of B-cell epitopes (Maximilian) or distributed representations of protein domains and genomes and their compositionality (Sebastian). Or you just come to Bled to enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the lake with a small church on a picturesque island, a castle on a cliff and the majestic mountain range. Bled is beautiful!
